After getting my first ‘teaching’ job, Mary Beth and I decided I needed company after moving to far away Pleasant Valley, CT. So we went to the mall’s pet shop and bought a cat…Eptimiss! Named after one of my students from my first class I ever taught, Eptimόtheos (Timmy in greek).
Well Epi came to his demise at my Father in laws dog kennel. Epi got out of the house when the snow banks were 4 ft high (this was in Maine), and Mr. Mosher let the dogs out about that time. Poor timmy had no where to go…:(
Well there were about 8 other Eptimiss cats, and one Band (my son Ben’s Rock Band in the 90’s).
Today, while cleaning for the housing inspector, I came across a box, and in that box were two brand new hats…Yes Eptimiss Hats!
